WOW ! UNBELIEVABLE ! AMAZING!!!! are the three words I am using to describe my recent experience with Caregiver Services.
My mother was hospitalized on a recent Saturday morning, That same day. In the late afternoon , I realized that she would need overnight care for a couple of nights to help her with her many needs I reached out to two other agencies that I knew before calling Caregiver Services. The other agencies were not able to help me but Trish of Caregiver Services was. I told her what I needed and she listened with a ton of warmth and caring words and so I felt like I was in good hands, This set my mind at ease. Within 30 minutes Trish was calling me back with options for all of my mother’s needs. She went above and beyond the call of duty to have care in place for my mother that very same evening even though I had given her incredibly short notice.
It was amazing !
I was very impressed with Caregiver Services and won’t hesitate to use their services again in the future.

I am so very appreciative of the friendship and services you are providing for both my mother and father. Dad’s limited mobility has been a concern for us and Kevin has been the perfect companion. He has such a great sense of humour, I just think he is wonderful. Marg is such a sweetheart who not only provides companionship for my Mom, but also keeps me informed and since I live in Vancouver, this is so very comforting. It’s like I was there and it puts a smile on my face every time I talk with her . She has made every effort to help with appointments and run errands for my Mom and I can’t tell you how important that is. Thanks so much for touching base. My mum did not like the idea of me hiring a caregiver for her originally, but she now really enjoys Marilyn’s visit. She (and I) think it is so nice that she brings cake for the two of them! My mum’s cognitive abilities have been so up and down this past month, due to colds, medications, etc., but I have always found her spirits higher after Marilyn’s visit. I just wish I had done it sooner! It gives me such peace of mind knowing that someone is there with her every Tuesday afternoon.

Your professional and compassionate staff was a great comfort to him in the hospital and then at home. Jovan was outstanding and Charlie enjoyed his company and knowledge of the wrestling that they watched together. David personally visiting Charlie on occasion was also greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to let you know how well we get along with your caregiver. My caregiver Corina starts her routine by giving me a shower then makes me a cup of tea and my lunch, after which I exercise.
She has taken me for blood tests, shopping, also to the local pool for exercises. When weather permits we take the dogs for walk. The dogs love her as she gives them treats and cuddles.
Corina is very attentive to my needs and very good company. She is the best caregiver and an excellent lady.

I contacted Caregiver Services for an urgent requirement after my mother came home from a few days in the hospital. They quickly reacted and were able to provide a 24 hour a day caregiver almost immediately. The caregiver was very competent and was a great help to us in managing through that difficult time. Regarding Nancy’s care by the Caregiver Services Ltd. staff, please note the following: Both office staff and their PSW’s are very professional, qualified and accommodating. Nancy’s primary caregiver Catherine, has been with Nancy for over 6 years looking after her both at home and in Parkview’s Long Term Care unit. As well as requests by myself being followed up and implemented, Caregiver’s staff of PSW’s is found to be very dependable, friendly, arriving on time and getting along with Parkview’s staff. Caregiver Services Ltd. is also able to accommodate us on short notice requests to send extra people when needed. Nancy is very fond of her private caregivers and works very well with then. Billing procedure is accurate, well documented and on time. Overall I find Caregiver Services Ltd.. to be a quality organization because of their PSW’s, their knowledge and caring ways.
